For well over a year we have navigated COVID 19 and all of the challenges that it has brought to our students, our schools, our local businesses, and our families.  We are proud of the ways in which our community has come together and eager to build upon our successes as we begin to uncover the impacts that COVID has had on our children. 

We are excited to be moving this year’s My65 event to the fall to provide an opportunity for in-person gathering, which will be hosted at Temperance Brewery on October 7.   Participants will reconnect with one another, share food and drink from local businesses, and celebrate all that we have accomplished while focusing on the road ahead. 

Foundation 65 supports educator-led initiatives through literacy and the arts that support educational equity.  Our goal is to raise over $150,000 to help fund literacy and arts programs from the creation of a new Maker Space, to our Educator Literacy Initiative, to our Black Boy Joy Book Club.  For more information, please check out our website at www.foundation65.org/
