Description

We are the Tennessee Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Our mission is to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. We do this through prevention education programming, advocacy, research, and survivor support.

On October 30, 2021, we are hosting our annual Nashville Out of the Darkness Walk at Two Rivers Park. This walk brings together friends, family, and co-workers to support those who have struggled with mental health and/or lost someone to suicide. This walk is a place of hope and healing for so many who are grieving.

This event is also a fundraiser and provides critical funding which allows us to continue our work in Nashville and throughout the state of Tennessee. We raise money via corporate sponsorships, peer-to-peer fundraising, and our silent auction. Funds raised allow us to provide prevention education programming, survivor support programs and events, and public policy advocacy.
