On Tuesday August 2nd from 4pm to 9pm we are having our annual National Night Out Event.  This event involves our Police Department along with other local police departments, Pennsylvania State Police, local Fire Departments, EMS, Pa Department of Forestry, Armed Forces and local entities.  This event allows the residents of our community as well as neighboring communities to come togather for a night of fun.  There will be exhibitions by our Police Department K-9 unit, the Fire Department has a smoke house for people to walk through for education, EMS does demonstrations of their equipment.  There is food, games, music and raffles.   Our last National Night Out had 500-1000 attendees.  Sponsors and the basket raffle are used as funds to keep the Night Out Event going every year.
