Dear Community Member,

The Navajo Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is hosting its annual Valentine Social
and Silent Auction and Raffle at Navajo Elementary School on February 9, 2023 and we are
asking for your support. The Valentine Social provides a night of dancing, refreshments, games
and a photo booth with a silent auction.
Navajo Elementary School is one of the few STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and
Mathematics) focused schools in the Phoenix area. Students needing individual supplies and
teachers asking for a little help to get creative with their lesson plans, not to mention funding
challenges, have made our support as necessary as ever. In the past, donations have helped
make this a successful event, with proceeds collected from our Silent Auction and Raffle
fulfilling many of these student and teacher requests, including science kits, garden supplies,
classroom furniture, among many other items.
Please support our school with a tax deductible donation that we can include in our silent
auction and raffle. Donations can be mailed directly to Navajo Elementary School, or we would
be happy to make arrangements to pick them up from your place of business. Contributing
sponsor names will be advertised at the event, included in school newsletters and posted on
our PTO website.
