Connecticut’s longest-running youth theatre program, the Newington Children’s Theatre Company, is celebrating its 61st season and we’re inviting you to join the celebration! We will be holding our 61st birthday party Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Indian Hill Country Club in Newington. We invite you to join the celebration by supporting our vibrant community theatre with a donation to our raffle/silent auction. This one-night only event will highlight NCTC’s rich history and the diverse talents of many area youth, while raising funds to grow the theatre’s reach. Every dollar raised from this event will directly benefit children’s programming.

Since its inception in 1963, NCTC has been providing quality, fun, hands-on educational opportunities for children and young adults, ages 5-25. Our programming throughout the year includes three major school-year musicals, a summer full of day camps with performances, and age-specific productions to accommodate all levels of experience. 

Our safe and engaging environment allows kids to explore their imaginations while learning how to take positive risks and conquer fears, building confidence and self-esteem. NCTC teaches kids life skills that are beneficial far beyond the stage. By supporting NCTC, associates your brand with the pulse of our community’s youth (and their families) and demonstrates that your business values NCTC as a cultural treasure in our community. While Newington is home, our programming draws hundreds of participants — plus their audiences — from all parts of Connecticut.

The theatre is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, allowing your donations to be tax-deductible (48-1290257). Your support will help us keep the “curtain raised” while helping children achieve their fullest potential.
