Norton Embracing Educational Development (NEED) is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides grants to Norton Public School faculty and staff for student educational purposes. We have provided over $210,000 in grants to Norton Schools since NEED began in 2005, funding everything from music instruments for our elementary schools to sophisticated software design programs for the high school. As we rely almost exclusively on the generosity of the business and individuals within our community, we need YOUR help to continue awarding grants in a district where the budget cannot cover the innovative programs and technologies NPS teachers and staff hope to implement.

We are currently seeking donations for our biggest fundraiser of the year: our annual spring auction. This fundraiser is a virtual auction that will run Friday, May 2nd through Friday, May 16th. In 2024, participants were bidding on 170 items and packages, raising a total of $18,401!

Our goal for 2025 is even bigger: $20,000! We would love your help making that a reality. As a donor, your business name & website will be displayed on the auction page associated with the donated item and will be shared on social media. We will also promote our sponsor partners onsocial media in the weeks leading up to the event. In addition to item donations, we offer year-long sponsorships for NEED. This sponsorship opportunity will get you a considerable amount of publicity as you will be part of every event/fundraiser we do throughout the year, including our spring virtual auction, Savers clothing drive, movie nights, and more! To maximize our fundraising dollars, NEED is looking for local companies to sponsor at the following donation levels:

$100- Bronze: Company name at all events/fundraisers, name on website (no logo) for one year, one-time group thank you on social media.

$250- Silver: Name & logo at all events/fundraisers for one year, mid-size logo onwebsite, group post quarterly

$500- Gold: Name & logo featured prominently at all events/fundraisers for one year.

Your business logo and link will be displayed on our website, individual quarterly social media posts, and shout-outs in our newsletter. NEED’s board and volunteers are grateful for everything our local businesses continue to contribute to this great cause.
