We are reaching out again in the hopes that you might help us with our silent auction, which coincides with our 11th Annual NEGU Gala: A Celebration of Courageous Smiles. This charity event, held at the Disneyland Hotel on March 18th, 2023 is attended by over 500 influential Orange County community members and guests.

The Jessie Rees Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity, founded by a 12-year old girl named Jessie Joy Rees who was diagnosed with two brain tumors and passed away in January 2012. During her fight, she wanted to give kids in the hospital who were in treatment some JOY and a message to NEVER EVER GIVE UP (NEGU)! Because of her efforts, our Foundation was born and our mission is to ensure every kid fighting cancer has the support to NEGU!

We fulfill our mission by CONNECTING with families, bringing AWARENESS to their stories, offering them helpful RESOURCES and sending the entire family continual doses of ENCOURAGEMENT throughout their journey.  To date, we have sent over 425,000 JoyJars world-wide to kids fighting cancer.  We partner with over 275 Children's hospitals and 175 Ronald McDonald Houses. 

In our effort to care for Courageous Kids fighting cancer and their families, all funds raised during this auction will go directly to programs to help fulfill our mission.
