Founded in 1980, Neighborhood Parents Network of Chicago (NPN) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers a diverse community of families by providing support and resources designed to solve the challenges of parenting in Chicago. Our 2023 Spring Online Auction, scheduled from March 8th to March 12th, 2023 is a four-day online auction to raise funds for NPN programs, school fairs, and resources that support Chicago families.

NPN helps Chicago families research schools, navigate developmental differences, and share advice on childcare, camps, and more. Here are just some of the ways NPN helps Chicago families:

●     Schools: We help parents understand the vast educational landscape in Chicago so they can make informed decisions for their family. We provide monthly, live, online discussions with local experts, in-person play dates at local schools, and an annual preschool and elementary school fair with 80+ schools from all over the city. 

●     Developmental differences: Families throughout Chicagoland attend our free monthly parent support group, access our free online provider directory, log on to our free, live sessions with child development experts, and attend our free Developmental Differences Resource Fair.

●      Parenting support: Our online discussion forum is a supportive environment where new and experienced parents ask and answer questions about everything from restaurant recommendations to career advice to raising kids (infants to teens). Our monthly support groups and play dates strengthen community connections.
