NEPA Sings is an annual fundraiser for CASA of Luzerne County.  CASA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit who recruits, trains and supports community volunteers to provide whole child advocacy and to serve as the voice of abuse and neglected children in the Luzerne County court system so that these children will be safe, secure and given the opportunity to thrive.  This fundraiser brings together students from local high schools to sing in an American Idol style singing competition in front of a panel of four judges.  This is a great community evening raising awareness and funds for CASA as well as the wonderful performing arts programs offered by our school districts.  This competion is held in front of a sell out crowd of 225 audience members and is promoted in all of the high schools and on television and social media outlets. 

CASA of Luzerne County has been operating for 10 years and has served over 300 children in the dependency court system in Luzerne County.
