The Newport Band Parents Association (NBPA) hosts an annual auction fundraiser with proceeds directly supporting  Newport High School's band program of over 170 students. The funds raised help defray costs of the band operating expenses like instrument repair, replacement, uniform purchase, cleaning, attending band clinics and field trips . Donors are recognized on our auction website, printed catalog and signage during both a silent and live auction. Students from our marching band perform in local parades like Salmon Days in Issaquah, Portland Starlight, and Auburn Veteran's Day parade. Fundraising provides scholarships for  students who financially may not be able to attend out of town trips otherwise.
