The Newport Band Parents Association (NBPA) hosts an annual auction with proceeds directly supporting  Newport High School's band program of over 180 students. The funds raised help defray costs of band operating expenses like instrument repair/ replacement, uniform purchase/cleaning, tutorials from visiting musicians, and this year have supported virtual learning. Funds also provide scholarships to students to attend music festivals, workshops and parades in regular years. Donors are recognized on our auction website.
