We are excited to announce Hand to Hold’s first in-person event since 2018 - NICU Champions of Central Texas: A Hand to Hold Celebration on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the Junior League of Austin. This is the only Central Texas event to thank, honor, and celebrate NICU professionals, donors, and community members who have boldly supported the NICU community.

We’d like to invite you to be part of the success of this fundraising event by making an in-kind donation to the silent auction or diaper pull mystery prize game.  

Silent Auction Packages: 

• Items, trips, lodging accommodations, tickets, certificate for services, an experience, etc
• 25-40 items/packages, be available for bidding at the event (250+ attendees) and online
• Anticipated to raise $33,000 to support free services for NICU families
• We encourage you to be creative and have fun with your silent auction donations
• Prizes & packages of higher value typically $150+ 
  Hand to Hold may combine individual items to create auction packages! 

Diaper Pull Items: 

• Sought after fundraising “game” at Hand to Hold fundraising events
• In-person tickets purchased for $50 in exchange to pull “diaper” including the number of an associated prize
• Each prize is valued at at least $50 with some of higher value mixed in the “Pull”
  300 prizes including restaurant gift cards, jewelry, liquor, skin care items, gift certificates for goods/services, etc
• Anticipated to raise $15,000 to support free services for  NICU families
• We encourage multiple items for donations to the diaper pull (ex: 10 - $25 gift cards, 15 pairs of earrings, etc.) to maximize your business’s marketing to our guests

Hand to Hold® is an Austin-based non-profit organization that provides emotional and peer-to-peer support to NICU parents at no cost.  In 2021, we served 23,000 NICU parents nationwide and our goal is to serve double in 2022.  Learn more about the programs Hand to Hold offers online at handtohold.org.
