Big Brothers Big Sisters of Will & Grundy Counties (BBBS WG) is excited to announce that we are entering our 55th year, marking our Emerald Anniversary! In celebration, we are hosting BBBS "Night at the Mansion - EMERALD CITY” fundraiser.  The event will be held at Jacob Henry Mansion on Thursday, August 7th from 6-9pm.  Our 200+ guests will be entertained by various stations of food, drink, activity.  As well as a program with paddle raise, silent auction, and raffles. 

Many children are fortunate to have positive adult influences that help shape who they become. Unfortunately, not all children receive this vital support. BBBS WG is dedicated to assisting these children.

Sponsors and donors play a crucial role in our mission by helping to create meaningful and supervised matches between adult volunteers, referred to as “Bigs,” and children, known as “Littles.”

Your support helps to fund our mission : to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that unleash the potential and promise of youth.  Independent studies have shown that this greatly increases the likelihood of children excelling in school, avoiding violence and illegal activities, and developing stronger relationships with their parents and peers.
