When you donate to Friends of Murphy (FOM), you enable us to support Murphy School
and its students in remarkable ways. Our upcoming event, the FOM Night Owl, is an
evening fundraiser for parents and community members, scheduled for March 18th, 2023.
This year the FOM Night Owl will take place at 4053 N Harding Ave. and will include food
and beverages, games, a live auction, and a paddle raise.

FOM is a 501(c)3 organization whose sole mission is to raise funds to support Murphy
School’s Mission/Vision and spread the word about our beloved neighborhood gem. In light
of IL and Chicago’s current financial instability, CPS Neighborhood Schools are always in
need of your continued support.

What FOM does for Murphy School:
•Builds partnerships with fine and performing arts organizations
•Funds needed physical improvements
•Facilitates Murphy School’s community outreach & engagement in our neighborhood
•Supports Murphy School’s students, faculty, staff and administration

How YOU can help:
•Sponsor FOM with a direct monetary donation toward our expenses and initiatives
•Donate goods or services for live auction or raffle prize
•Attend our event to show your support and connect with customers in our community
