We are again seeking items we can offer at our fundraiser at the 2023 Annual Conference, which will take place May 21st - 23rd at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ. We would appreciate a donation of any kind that will be used during our fundraising event or as a part of our silent auction, (gift cards/ticket vouchers are great prizes). Your donation will help us achieve our goal for this fundraiser, which is to be able to continue to offer Camp College and College Key free to the NJ students as well as offer scholarships through the association.
· Camp College - Camp College is a free 2-day, overnight program for traditionally underrepresented, low-income, first-generation college-bound students. Camp College is hosted by a New Jersey college or university and allows students the opportunity to experience campus life first hand by staying on-campus overnight. Topics covered during Camp College are the college application, the college essay, recommendation letters, financial aid, and other prominent college admissions topics.
· College Key - College Key is a free college admissions workshop for traditionally underrepresented, low income, and first generation high school students. This event is open to 10th and 11th grade high school students and their parents and/or guardians.
· Scholarships - NJACAC awards scholarships annually to high school seniors, community college students who are enrolling at a four-year institution, and to a current graduate student who is enrolled in a school counseling or higher education administration program.
