The New Jersey Choral Society's 2023-24 theme is Coming Home! Our spring 2024 fundraising Gala of the same name will take place on April 14 at Macaluso's in Hawthorne, NJ. We are especially spotlighting our NJ/NY/CT/USA home via items and experiences offered at this event. The Gala includes a cocktail/ appetizer reception, followed by a buffet dinner with live program (singing/ music provided by our all volunteer members and a few guests), along with a Wine Pull, Silent Auction, and assorted Tricky Tray baskets.

This event benefits and supports the funding needs of this 501c3 organization founded in 1980. As an volunteer group of around 70 auditioned singers, we perform 3 concert programs each year in the northern NJ area including Holiday, Pops, and Masterworks, reaching approximately 2000 attendees in-person and via live streaming. During each concert season, the New Jersey Choral Society moves seamlessly from classical to Pops and back again, with the passion, excellence, and imagination that has become its hallmark.

Money raised helps us pay for our rental venues for rehearsals, concerts, accompanist, artistic director, instrumentalists, and other costs incurred in our annual operating expenses for this charitable organization. Funding of NJCS, njcs.org, which uses locally sourced instrumentalists/artistic directors, is directly linked to job creation and supporting the local artistic community.
