No-Name Chorale began in 2014 and has grown into one of the most dynamic fine-arts organizations in the St. Louis region. In an effort to make music accessible to everyone, all of our events are 100% free and nearly all of our musicians are unpaid volunteers.

In the beginning, NNC only functioned during one week in the summer, but through these brief concert cycles strong relationships were built and the demand to sing together grew. No-Name Chorale is now a firmly established part of the St. Louis choral scene and continues to fulfill its mission by offering seven concerts per season designed to share the joy of inspired choral singing with each other and the community. In addition, we began offering youth music camps in 2022 and have since reached hundreds of kids aged 8 to 18.

Our mission: 

No-Name Chorale is dedicated to creating meaningful shared experiences through the art of choral singing and cultivating an appreciation of choral music by presenting fine-art music in an approachable, welcoming manner.

While we do everything we can to keep costs low, it does cost money to host these events. Without ticket sales or registration fees, purchasing sheet music, insurance, printing costs, youth camps, and guest musicians require fundraising. On Saturday, August 12, 2023 we are hosting the Bowl-a-Rama Fundraiser from 1-4pm at Bel-Air Bowl in Belleville, Illinois. This will include a silent auction and we hope that you are willing to donate an item or gift certificate to support our cause. We are expecting about 250 guests. With generous donations from community businesses, partners and individuals, we can continue to make great music available and completely free of charge to everyone.
