North Park Salsa Fest
Carnival/Festival for Friends of Thomas Jefferson ElementaryMay 03, 2025 from 11:30 AM to 5:00 PM

The 4th Annual North Park Salsa Fest is a vibrant, family-friendly event held in the heart of San Diego's vibrant North Park neighborhood. Drawing over 1,500 attendees, this community event features salsa tastings from local restaurants competing for the title of “Best Salsa,” craft beer from neighborhood breweries, food trucks, live music, cultural performances, and fun activities for all ages.
100% of proceeds from the event directly benefits Friends of Jefferson (FoJ), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting Jefferson Elementary School, a Title I public school in North Park. As a Title I school, Jefferson serves a diverse student population with significant economic need. Many of the enrichment programs—like Art, Garden, Dance, and after-school clubs—are not funded by the district or state, making community support essential.
Donor participation helps fund these critical programs and directly impacts the educational experience of children who would otherwise go without. In return, donors gain exposure to a large, engaged community audience and align their brand with a meaningful local cause that supports equity in education and empowers young learners.
Your support helps create lasting memories for students and strengthens the community through joy, culture, and shared purpose.
