We would love your support for getting kids in Northern Illinois involved in activities.  Don’t Sit It Out is a non-profit project working under the 501c3, The Maidez Center.  Our mission is helping kids to experience life when they don’t have the means themselves.  We focus on providing financial support, equipment, or other supports to help make sure kids who want to get involved with the arts, athletics, community events, or other experiences, have the opportunity to do so.  Our focus for our Northern Fundraiser helps students in Mundelein Vernon Hills, and surrounding Chicagoland areas.  We hope to inspire the youth in our communities to pursue their passions.

For our Spring Northern Illinois fundraiser, scheduled for May 13 2023 in Vernon Hills Illinois, we will be doing bowling and auctions where we will be having a silent auction, raffles, and 50/50s all to contribute to Don't Sit It Out.  We hope to have around 100-150 people attend.   Our main attendees come from Schaumburg, Naperville, Chicago, Lake County, and surrounding areas.   Proceeds will go to helping kids in both our Northern and Southern Illinois regions to assist with activities/programs that they apply for. Our organization assists kids aged 5 to 18 who can not afford to go to different experiences.

We are looking for donations of gift cards, items that can be used for silent auctions, or items that can be combined for raffle or live auctions.  We are also willing to distribute promotional and advertising items to our participants such as pens, notepads, t-shirts, hats, bottle openers, etc.   All proceeds go to support the kids in local communities.  All donations will be recognized in our program, with on site signage, on our webpage, and on social media.

Please help our local children not sit it out and experience life!!
