Los Compadres de Escuela Longfellow is seeking your support for our K-8 Spanish Language Immersion Program. Los Compadres is a parent teacher, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Escuela Longfellow is a Title 1 magnet school where English-speaking children are taught the Spanish language as they study academic subjects according to the curriculum guidelines of the district and state of California. Magnet schools are public schools designed to bring together students with a variety of socioeconomic and demographic backgrounds. Longfellow is in its forty-second year as a Spanish immersion magnet school in the San Diego Unified School District and currently serves 680 students.

The event will be held on Saturday, March 14th at the Mission Bay Yacht Club and the theme will be “Not So Silent Disco”! We will have an online auction open to the community the week prior to the event and both Silent and Live Auctions at the event. All proceeds go directly towards programs and supplies for the students and teachers at our school.
