The Junior League of Brownsville (JLB), formerly known as Brownsville Junior Service
League (BJSL), will be holding a fundraiser entitled Now We’re Cookin’! Casino Edition
which will be held at the Amigoland Convention Center on Thursday, March 30, 2023. JLB raises
its own operating money through fundraising efforts and once again our event is centered on a
culinary theme - a cooking contest among local restaurants for the distinction of the best entrée
and signature cocktail. This year, we’re adding to the evening of fun by integrating a Casino Night.
Featuring gaming tables and a silent auction along with other fun activities.We are seeking your assistance in the form of a sponsorship for this event to make our fundraising efforts a great success and continue the mission of our organization. All the funds
generated from this fundraiser will be used to support such clinics and special projects. None of
our members get compensated for their participation. So, rest assured that all of the money will
be going back to the community. Sponsorships are available at various levels to accommodate
all budgets starting at $500 - $8,000.
