Description

After Dark event at 5:30 pm for you to enjoy local food trucks and brewery, be entertained with live music and watch an outdoor showing of “Modern Marvels, The Manhattan Project” in the museum’s nine-acre outdoor exhibit area, Heritage Park (movie begins at dark). At this event we will have a raffle to raise money for our MAC facility, The MAC facility will be 5,000 square feet, offering space for museum-quality storage for the nuclear defense artifacts, plus an exhibition preparation space. The MAC will also be a site for scheduled behind-the-scenes tours to invite the community to experience this part of history firsthand. It will be constructed in the museum’s Heritage Park, right next to the museum building located on Eubank Blvd.
