I am a nurse at Lurie Children's Hospital and Co-Chair of the Reward, Recogniton, and Retention Committee. Lurie Children's is a Magnet-recongizied institution that serves the Chicagoland area's pediatric population as the #1 Pediatric Hospital in Illinois.

Each May, health care institutions across the nation celebrate nurses who work tirelessly to provide excellent care for our communities. At Lurie, we are celebrating this year May 5-12 by gifting nurses with food, coffee, gifts, experiences and showering them with thanks. One special event is our raffle.

Part of my role on the RRR Committee is to seek donations for our raffle. Nurses have the opportunity to win prizes donated from vendors and businesses across the Chicagoland area as a way to celebrate all they do for the kids and families in the city, the suburbs, and beyond.
