Please join us to help celebrate our Residents and Staff during National Skilled Nursing Home Week;  May 12-18, 2024.  

The 2024 National Skilled Nursing Care Week (NSNCW)​ theme, Radiant Memories - A Tribute to the Golden Age of Radio, embraces a time when the airwaves resonated with captivating stories and melodies. More than nostalgia, "Radiant Memories" is a call to honor the enduring legacy of skilled nursing care centers.

It is fitting that this year’s theme is the Golden Age of Radio, as Teresian House is celebrating our 50th Anniversary. Founded in 1974, Teresian House has grown from a humble beginning into a trusted and respected institution in the community. Over the past half-century, we have continued to uphold the values and principles of the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm whose mission is to provide holistic care to the aged and infirm in an atmosphere of Christian understanding and faith. 

We are profoundly grateful for the trust and support we have received from the community over the last five decades, our 50th anniversary celebration is not just a reflection on our history but a recommitment to our mission of caring for the elderly with dignity, respect, and love.

To boost morale of the staff that take care of our elderly, we are planning daily events and raffles to give away all week long. For us to be able to do this, we are reaching out to the community to see if anyone can help. Do you think it would be possible to donate something to Teresian House for this use?  We appreciate anything you may be able to contribute!

Teresian House is a 300-bed Skilled Nursing Facility sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany and served by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged & Infirm, located at 200 Washington Avenue Ext., Albany, New York 12203.
