Description

The PTO is a Section 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on building the best community for our students by cultivating and enhancing their educational experiences and opportunities.  We strive to bring students, teachers & families together to share thoughts and ideas, and implement programs and activities that benefit Oak Chan Students and the surrounding community. We will be hosting our annual Parent Dinner & Auction on March 1st, 2024. This event serves as the primary fundraiser for funding programs and activities year-round for our students!

The Oak Chan Parent Dinner and Auction is an adult event attended by family members of students, Oak Chan alumni, teachers and faculty, and local community business owners and leaders. Our residents value diversity, friendship, and community spirit. We are home to one of Intel Corporations largest sites in the United States, supporting a diverse demographic with employees from around the world. The event includes a live and silent auction, cocktail hour with beer, wine, and cocktails, and concludes with DJ and dancing. Our event typically draws more than 300 community members, we auction gift cards, merchandise, and services generously donated by businesses like yours with a goal to raise $30,000. These critical funds, raised through your support, will assist with the costs supporting innovative items like the Vending Machines of Books, as well as continuing valued traditional school programs such as Ceramics Enrichment, Meet the Masters Art Program, Talent Show, Library, Computer Lab Equipment, Reading and Math intervention programs, and much, much more.

Your donation will go a long way towards supporting our goal this year! We will include your logo and name as one of our supporters on our website, as well as include your logo in signage and in the power point presentation shared with the audience at the event.
