Our biggest fundraiser is our annual car show. It will be held on October 17, 2015. This has become one of the most talked about cars show in the state. Last year we had over 200 entries and 2000 attendees from the tri-state area. Last year we raised over $8000. Two of the biggest money makers that day are our gift auction table and the food area. These two areas do well because it appeals to all attendees, from spectators to the car registrants. We know that every business is suffering from this economy and requests for donations are never ending. We are sending this out early in hopes that your donation allotment is not depleted and you will appreciate the need for our services in our surrounding areas. No donation is too small and anything is greatly appreciated. We are looking for the following:
• Items for the Gift Auction: such as gift certificates and product. Do not worry the amount, we will bundle and give all parties credit for the donation.
• Food Sponsors: can either donate needed food items or give a monetary donation to help
defray food costs.
• Trophy Sponsors: The cost for sponsoring a trophy class is $250 and your name will appear
on at least 3 of the trophies. You will also receive a 10’ by 10’ vendor space and the placement
of your advertising material in our goodie bags (supply of at least 250).
• Event Sponsorship: The costs for an event sponsorship are $500 for Silver, $750 for Gold and $1000 for Platinum. Each sponsorship with have at least 3 trophies with their company name on it to be presented by a representative of your company (if available): the ability to have your banners hung by us at a prominent area: a vendor space ranging from 10’ by 20’ to 10’ by 40’; the placement of your advertising material in the goodie bags (supply of at least 250); recognition in print, our website, PA announcements throughout the day and any media coverage we receive.
• Vendor Space: is $25 for a 10’ by 10’ section. We are also asking for all vendors to donate
an item for our gift auction.
Deadline for any trophy sponsorship is September 11, 2015. We will print a list of companies that donate and place it in prominent areas of the show and on our website. Please contact us with any questions or if you have another idea to participate in our show.

the Ocean Gate First Aid Squad who have been providing the borough of Ocean Gate (population 3500+) with outstanding and professional VOLUNTEER EMS service since 1949. We are also the primary mutual aid for the towns of Bayville, Pine Beach and Beachwood (populations 50000+). Some of our members are part of the New Jersey Emergency Medical Services Task Force and provide service to the entire state of New Jersey and mutual aid to New York and Pennsylvania. We do all this with no cost to our patients or the towns we provide service to. We have an operating budget of $30,000 all of which is generated by donations and fundraisers. Donations have decreased dramatically over the past several years, from the mailed beggar letters to the annual 50/50. We rise to that challenge and are focusing in on our annual car show. So we are asking for your help. We are a federally recognized 501 C 3 (23-7170493) and NJ Charitable (CH0672600) organization.
The past 2 years has brought added strains to our organization. Our community and all of the surrounding areas were hard hit by Hurricane Sandy. Approximately 79% of the homes in town have sustained storm damage and many residents were displaced. This has put a large strain on our ability to raise needed funds for operations. The good news is little by little, normalcy is being established and the town is rebuilding. We now face new challenges. As our residents and surrounding towns rebuild, their homes are built higher and higher to comply with FEMA requirements. There is now a need for additional equipment to be able to provide emergency services. This special equipment would allow us to transfer patients from their homes down flights of stairs with little or no risk to the patient or to the first responders. We accept this challenge, and with your help, we can make it happen. Nothing can stop the spirits of the residents of Ocean Gate!
