The Rotary Club of Palatine Foundation is excited to announce our 15th annual Oktoberfest fundraising celebration.  Over the years our 3-day festival has become a signature event for Palatine and the northwest suburban community.  The event attracts thousands of people from the greater Chicagoland area.  This year’s event will be held September 15th-17th in the commuter parking lot (same as prior years) just north of Towne Square, at the intersection of Slade Street and Smith Street in Palatine. There will be German music, food & beverages. Admission is free to all! Funds are raised though sales of food & beverage, and our raffle baskets. Saturday afternoon is "Family Day" including activities for kids as well as performances from local youth dance and music groups.

Since 2008, the Rotary Club of Palatine Foundation has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars through our Oktoberfest event.  As part of our annual allocation process, we have provided financial contributions to dozens of local charities.  Recipients of this support include charities such as:  Journeys the Road Home, Bridge Youth and Family Services, Shelter Inc., Special Leisure Services Foundation, Partners for Our Communities, American Cancer Society, Clearbrook, Faith Community Homes, St. Joseph Home for the Elderly, Ray Mills Fund, Palatine Senior Center, and many more.
