      REF: This letter serves as our formal request for a donation to our annual       fundraising event titled the Olney Lions Club - Online Silent Auction, opening June 7, 2024, closing on September 2, 2024 and its 31st  Olney Open Charity Golf Tournament on 9 September 2024

This year, the Olney Lions Club will be presenting its annual fundraising event, an Online Silent Auction, and its 31st  Charity Olney Open Golf Tournament.  We hope you will consider our request and join us in helping local communities to thrive.  Our “Misson to Serve" is ongoing as we fulfill our objectives each year.  Our “Mission” to care for those in need who call upon us for assistance.
 
The Olney Lions Club’s Online Silent Auction, opens on the 7th of June 2024 and remains “Live” until the 2nd of September 2024. Your donation of a gift certificate, gift card, or merchandise to our Online Silent Auction ”offers your business months of free advertising”!!!  By accessing this link https://www.32auctions.com/olneylionsclub2024 and signing in, you can review your donation(s).  The sooner we receive your donation, the longer it appears on the Silent Auction site to advertise for your business. 
 
Funds raised from your donation will help the Olney Lions Club continue its “Mission” to support many local organizations, programs and events such as the Lions Vision Research Foundation/Wilmer Eye Institute, Leader Dogs for the Blind, Lions Camp Merrick for Children with Special Needs, Childhood Cancer, Pre- School Vision Screening and eye glasses for young children and adults, Olney residents in need of hearing aids, Olney Boys and Girls Clubs, “Toys for Kids”, Olney Help, Manna Food Center, Womens Board of Montgomery General Hospital, Winter Growth, Olney Lions Service and College Scholarships, Red Cross blood drives, and many more community based organizations.
 
We continue to partner with Mr. Rich Leotta, the father of Montgomery County Police Officer Noah Leotta, supporting his son’s legacy of saving lives with the “Act Responsibly Scholarship” fund.
 
For tax donation purposes, our Federal Identification Number, is 01-0741661, identifying the Lions Club of Olney Foundation as a registered 501(C) (3) charitable organization.
