Description
Angel Flight East (AFE) provides free flights for children and adults in need of medical treatment far from home. A network of volunteer pilots from Virginia to Ohio to Maine use their own airplanes and cover all costs of the flights to provide this invaluable service.
We will celebrate AFE and thank our pilots at the On Angels’ Wings Gala, to be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024. However, even with our generous pilots, there is considerable coordination required to match pilots with these patients and donations help us fund these efforts. In 2023, AFE coordinated close to 1,000 flights, helping 160 families get the care they needed.
