We are celebrating our annual gala called One Amazing Community, On Saturday, April 27, 2024.  All proceeds raised at the gala will benefit our students and programs in all eight counties we serve.

10,000 Degrees is the leading, equity-focused scholarship provider and college success nonprofit in California that supports students from low-income backgrounds to and through college.

We believe in the potential of all students and have no GPA requirement to participate in our programs. 100% of our students are from low-income backgrounds, 93% are Black, Indigenous, Latine or people of color, and 92% of our students will be the first in their families to attend college.

For over 40 years, 10,000 Degrees has focused on achieving educational equity. And because of you, we are making great strides towards that goal. Since 1981, we’ve helped over 20,000 students graduate from college and awarded more than $90 million in scholarships!

Today, 10,000 Degrees reaches 16,000+ students and families annually in eight Bay Area counties, including 4,200 college students attending universities and institutions across the nation. We provide comprehensive wraparound support, college and financial aid counseling, mentoring, scholarships, financial aid management, and career readiness. Our Fellows, near-peer coaches who are recent college graduates and often alumni of 10,000 Degrees, are embedded in high school and college campuses to help students navigate life both on and off-campus and throughout their college success journey.
