Opening day is the festival for the first day of the 2023 softball season. All the players of the Redwood City Girls Softball League teams are dressed up in uniform and have a ceremony to start the softball season. The league Hit-a-Thon will be held the same day and this fundraiser helps pay for field usage fees, team equipment, training aids, uniforms, field improvements, clinics, umpires, and more! Winners of Hit-a-Thon are awarded prizes! If there is interest in distributing products, then the Opening Day Ceremony is the best time for this.
