Our opening day is a free event and the entire Colonie community is welcome to attend. On this day, we kick off our recreational softball league which consists of girls ages 4-16.  Parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. all come down to the park to watch the young ladies of the community start their spring season.  It is an a affair filled with exhibition games, face painting, friendly competitions, food, music, raffles, giveaways, and fun!
