Our opening day ceremony is the kick off of the baseball/softball season. First we have a small parade by walking through the neighborhood and ending at the baseball fields. We then have a small ceremony, with local officials from the area, we do a first pitch and have a play by play game for baseball and softball. We give out refreshments and hotdogs, do a big chinese auction and have local vendors come out with face painting, etc. It's a long day but a great day for our community.
