On Saturday June 24th we are partnering with the San Jose Giants on our 3rd annual charity poker tournament, to raise funds to help us mail packages to our troops overseas, and support local military families and veterans. We are a Northern California based 501(c)3 charitable all-volunteer organization, celebrating our 20th year of working with the community to honor and support our military not only throughout all of California, but the entire United States through three award winning programs: 1) OCC Care Packages- founded in 2003, we have packed and mailed nearly 2 million pounds of care packages to deployed troops in conflict regions and those also serving on humanitarian missions. "Adopted" military units receive care packages every month until they return home. 2) OCC tickets for troops- founded in 2004, we have distributed tens of thousands of donated pro sports and events tickets to our military, veterans, and their families FREE of charge. 3) OCC Adopt a Military Family- founded in 2005, we assist our military, veterans and their families through our support program. Annually, hundreds of military families are anonymously adopted and supported. We have also distributed over 1 million pounds of care packages to military families at bases across the United States.
