 To Whom It May Concern:

We are writing you today to make a formal donation request to our not-for-profit, Ducks Unlimited Annual Fund-Raising Banquet this April 1, 2023. Our current donors, sponsors, and underwriters require a request months before the event, so we are starting earlier this year with our requests. We are hoping this will allow more time for our supporters to review this information and potentially partner with us for this year’s event. I have attached a flyer that has event details for your review as well. If you are interested in attending the event, please let me know and I will send you out that information as well. We LOVE having our supporters present at the Banquet. Your support makes it possible for us to hold a successful event yearly and we appreciate your time and consideration.

If this is your first-time considering donating or even if you have been donating for years, I have included information and/or a recap for your review.

Ducks Unlimited is an organization that fights to preserve wetlands across the United States. Our event directly supports the New York Area. Funds raised during our events has helped clean up and preserve the wetlands in our area. Our events raise awareness, helps with educational events/video’s online, it also brings our communities together while raising money for a great cause. Support from you helps us preserve the wetlands, and we are hoping to continue or start a partnership with you for our 2023 banquet.

Event Name:  45th Annual Fund-Raising Banquet
Date: Saturday, April 1, 2023
Time: 5:30 pm.
Purpose:  To bring awareness and raise money to preserve wetlands.
Ticket Prices:    Single: $70, Couple, $100 and Greenwings- $50 (Greenwings are children between the ages of 0-17 years old). 

Our event is April 1, 2023, so if you are sending out a donation or approve a donation for pickup, we kindly ask that you respond to this request as soon as possible or by March 4, 2023. If your donation has an expiration date, we ask that you set the date for expiration 1 year from the event date (April 1, 2023). This will allow our attendee’s the opportunity to use the donation.

During the event we offer a Live Auction, Silent Auction, General Raffle, Chinese Raffle, Women’s Raffle, Greenwings (kids) Door Prizes and other raffles played during the night.

For approved donations please mail it to the address below. If your donation requires a pickup, please let us know.

Our door prizes, event prizes, raffles, silent auction, and live auction are all donated, sponsored, or underwritten. Our community (businesses across these Counties: Orleans, Monroe, Genesee, Wyoming, Erie, Niagara, Seneca, Ontario, and Steuben) have partnered with us and stepped-up year over year to contribute to this event. Donations & sponsorships have included gift cards, gift baskets, business merchandise, vouchers for free meals or appetizers, free stays, and other products. We would be appreciative of your partnership, new or continued for our 2023 season.

Our banquet itinerary, along with signage at each item shows recognition during the event for our underwrites, donators, and sponsors. This is a fun, truly family friendly event.
