Urban Fairies is commemorating these diverse families in our community at our Other’s Day Celebration. It is a 

wonderful opportunity to come together in fellowship for LGBTQ+, disabled, single-parent 

households, and non traditional families of all kinds. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day are easily recognized by everyone, but not all families fit the binary of our current culture. We pride ourselves on inclusion for all and work hard to increase visibility.

On June 22, 2024 we are hosting our 3rd annual Other's day event. We showcase our local small businesses, pop-up shop entrepreneurs, Community-based organizations and agencies alongside a plethora of youth initiatives and displays of talent. 

This year, we aim to raise over $8500 to meet the diverse needs of this event, for food , entertainment, venue fees, talent show sponsor ship , supplies, awards music, etc. and we are reaching out to you for your generous assistance. 

We are anticipating the attendance of over 2000+ community members from our local Staten Island community.  

Therefore, we are suggesting a monetary donation of $1000 and/or gift cards / gift basket raffles, in-kind donations of preparedfood or other tangible resources. Still, anything that can becontributed is appreciated.

In return for your donation, you will be included in all advertisements (flyers on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedln, Neighborhood apps,storefronts, police precincts, and Linc charging stationsthroughout Staten Island, as well as traditional flyer distributionand email Blasts to 600+ community organizations and agencies a year long feature on our website and social media.
