Westwood Baptist Academy, founded in 2002, is a Christian school in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, educating young people from preschool through the twelfth grade. We have received our regional accreditation from the Middle States Association – Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools, as well as full accreditation from  AACS and Cognia. Over the past twenty-two years, the Academy’s enrollment has increased annually. This year we are blessed with an enrollment of 245 students.  

In years past, we have been able to raise funds to help update software for our computer lab, purchase all new equipment for our elementary playground, invest in a growing fine-arts program, implement the Sycamore Education school management platform and School Messenger texting platform, acquire a projector system with touch screen and wireless capabilities, and install flat screen televisions in the classrooms as we move toward the continual integration of technology in the classrooms. With this growth comes a responsibility to continue to provide an excellent education and extracurricular activities, as well as being able to offer a solid education to all students, those who can learn in the regular classroom and those who might need one-on-one assistance. at an affordable cost.  

On Friday, April 19, 2024, Westwood Baptist Academy will host its 19th Annual Dinner and Auction. The dinner and auction will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Black River Coliseum located at 301 South 5th Street in Poplar Bluff. Tickets for the event range in prices from our VIP Seating to General Admission. 

In order for this type of fundraising event to be successful, we need your support. Any product or service you or your business could donate to be used in the auction or at the school would be greatly appreciated. Your donation is tax deductible. As an expression of our gratitude, we will publicly recognize your support and encourage our students’ families and friends to frequent your business.
