The 15th Annual Outlets at Anthem Shopping Extravaganza Event takes place on October 5, 2019. This charity fundraising event features one-day-only saving offers, live entertainment, lunch and dessert bar, and prize drawings and is attended by over 2,000 people. As a participating charity in this event, JAG has an opportunity to raise funds to support our mission through the sale of silent auction items.

About JAG: JAG’s mission is to help young people stay in school and to acquire the academic, personal, leadership and vocational skills they will need to be successful upon graduation. JAG programs are embedded in the school day, connecting youth with a positive adult role model, delivering competency-based curriculum, and developing youth leaders through the student-led career association.  Throughout the year, students also plan and participate in service projects giving back to the community and career and college exploration events. JAG continues to support these students after graduation as they transition into further education and employment. 

JAG recently celebrated another successful year, with 99% of 2018 JAG Seniors graduating (compared to Arizona’s statewide graduation rate of 80%) and 97% of 2018’s graduates positively engaged in employment or postsecondary education. This year, JAG is expanding to 30 programs serving more than 1,300 students. Funds generated through this and other efforts throughout the year help us place JAG Coordinators on partner campuses to provide intensive, year-round services to youth who have been identified as at-risk of dropping out of school, or graduating without connection to employment or further education.
