Over 550 guests come from all over Virginia to enjoy all-you-can-eat fresh local Virginia oysters, fried seafood, chowder, dessert buffet, craft beers, wine, full bar, DJ/live music, raffles & more at the Virginia Living Museum’s annual Oyster Roast Fundraiser! Voted Best of the 757 Gold for Outdoor Festivals by Coastal Virginia Magazine and 2021 Green Event of the Year by VA Green Travel Alliance, this event is always a sell-out and will be held rain or shine.

The VLM Oyster Roast is an official Virginia Green Event.

All proceeds benefit the Museum’s award-winning educational programs and animal care needs.
