Golf Tournament for The Paige Elizabeth Keely Foundation, IncMay 13, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM
The Paige Keely Foundation for their 2nd Golf Classic and Dinner to be held on Monday. May 13th. 2024, at the Nissequogue Golf Club. The evening will include dinner, auction, raffles, entertainment and special guest speakers Dr. Sima Mofakham and Dr. Chuck Mikell representing the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. They will be discussing how to identify and manage risk factors for brain hemorrhage and AVM's.
The Paige Elizabeth Keely Foundation was created in honor of Paige Keely, who passed away at the age of 6, due to a brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM). Early AVM detection can help to change the course of this disease. If Paige's AM had been detected her doctors believe it could have been treated and she would likely still be here today. The mission of the Paige Elizabeth Keely Foundation is to increase funding for early AM detection. Our vision is to raise awareness for AVMs, educate communities about this treatable condition, and establish early detection screening. Your generous donation and participation will allow us to pursue our mission and to help ensure that no family will have to go through the pain of losing a child when early detection can help save a life.
We would like to thank you in advance for your support. A nonprofit is only as strong as the community that holds us up. Together, we can do more than we can do alone. Your donation allows us to bring our abilities and passions together to affect real change.
