PAINT THE TOWN will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland. 300 arts afficianados from Annapolis and the surrounding area will attend. The beneficiary of this event is the Arts Council of Anne Arundel County's 'Arts Angels' program, which provides scholarships to students who have the talent, but not the means, to pursue their passion for the arts.

The night will begin at 6:30 pm with a cocktail reception. Entertainment will be provided by local independent artists and performing arts organizations, including Appalachian percussive dance ensemble Footworks; the Performing Arts Center for African Cultures, a drumming and dance group; Meki's Tamure, a South Pacific music and dance ensemble; and singer sonwriter Doug Segree. There will be a wine pull and silent auction during the cocktail hour.

This will be followed by a seated dinner and program, starting with a live auction. A video discussing the impact of the Arts Angels program, then a scholarship recipient will speak. The program will end with a dedicated paddle raise. The evening will conclude with dancing to the Groove Spot Band.
