Description

On Saturday, April 13, 2024, at the Engineer's Club of Baltimore, a gathering of parents & alumni will form a Pandemonium to celebrate our proud legacy and raise money to fund programs and expenditures at Poly that enhance the learning experience for the entire school community to provide resources that ensure equitable access and opportunity for students, teachers, and staff. Pandemonium is sponsored by the PPFA, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to promoting academic excellence at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute (Poly) by uniting parents, faculty, administrators, and the community to support our high school scholars.

Pandemonium 2024 will be an evening filled with mock casino games with professional dealers, a silent auction, food and drink, music, and more. Anchored in this celebration is a desire to raise funds to:

- Evaluate and respond to the school community's safety and wellness, with an emphasis on mental health. This focus has become increasingly important for our students in the aftermath of the pandemic but has been overlooked due to a lack of adequate funding.
- Establish a Grant Program to support student projects and organizations at Poly that have expenses that are not covered in the operating budget of the school. This includes individual teacher, club, and team grants.

The Poly Parent Faculty Association (PPFA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to promoting academic excellence at Poly. We are seeking sponsorships from community businesses as well as parent & alumni owned & led businesses to help meet our fundraising goal of $25,000.

Baltimore Polytechnic Institute is a "Blue Ribbon School of Excellence" and was named in Newsweek as #36 Best STEM High School, #1 in Maryland. Our graduates are engineers, doctors, lawyers, musicians, financial professionals, and public officials. Our most recent graduating class of 2023 boasted the following achievements:
