Francis W. Parker School is reaching out today to ask you to consider making an in-kind donation to our school’s fundraiser this year.  All proceeds from the fundraiser go directly to supporting Parker’s financial assistance program.  More details are below:

Francis W. Parker School’s Financial Assistance Program

For the past 120 years, Parker has been committed to the belief that the most enriching educational moments occur when our school community is composed of individuals—parents, students and teachers—who bring diverse perspectives and backgrounds to the classroom and apply the lessons they’ve learned out in the world and through their own experience.  Educational experiences can vary greatly; the pandemic has highlighted those disparities for all of us. 

This is why Parker is committed to building a robust financial assistance program, so that students regardless of their financial circumstances can access a Parker education. This year, 25% of Parker students (240 students) received financial assistance!  Financial assistance at Parker supports tuition expenses, but also meals, technology needs, college prep, travel support, extended day programming, and more!  We do everything we can to ensure students are able to access all aspects of a Parker education.

 
Fundraiser Details

On Friday, April 1, Francis W. Parker School will hold Parker Party 2022: A Fundraiser for Financial Assistance. It is an opportunity for our community to come together to enjoy a special evening, which includes good food, great fun and invaluable fundraising in support of our commitment to ensuring more students throughout Chicago are able to access a high quality education like Parker’s. Central to the evening will be a program featuring live speakers, performances, a paddle raise, a live and silent auction (featuring local businesses and educational non-profit organizations) and more. 

Silent Auction - In-Kind Donation Request

Our goal for the Parker Party’s silent auction is to raise $250,000 for the financial assistance program. It is with this goal in mind that we ask you to please consider a donation from your business - perhaps a gift basket, product/service, or a gift card.  Parker Party is a great opportunity to highlight your organization and reach 750 potential new customers. Organizations will be listed alongside the donation on our bidding platform. All donations are tax deductible.
