Description

The South Pasadena Educational Foundation was founded in 1979 by parents and community members. Since then, SPEF has donated more than $15 million to the 5 schools of South Pasadena (3 elementary, 1 middle school, and 1 high school) to help bridge the gap between what the state provides and what our schools need. SPEF funds Teacher Direct and Major Grants, and supports visual and performing arts, technology, books, science curriculum, sports equipment, and career pathway programs. SPEF also provides enrichment programs such as K-12 summer school, summer camps, a 5th-grade musical, and after-school classes.

Our event, Parti Gras, typically attracts 800-1,000 attendees from the South Pasadena community.  Our annual event features food and cocktails from local restaurants, a live and silent auction, a paddle raise, dancing and so much more.  This year's theme is "Smooth Sailing" featuring the smooth sounds of 70s and 80s music performed live by Harbor Party.

Donation will be used for a silent auction to help raise money to fund a variety of programs and activities for South Pasadena schools.
