Description

At CAMP, anything is possible! Children and adults with disabilities participate in adapted activities including swimming, horseback riding, canoeing, archery, arts and crafts, outdoor cooking, and paintball regardless of their disability. Campers can ride a horse...even if they can’t walk, float down the slow river…even if they have serious respiratory issues, make friends...even if they can’t speak, hit a bullseye in archery...even if they can’t see, and at CAMP, everyone dances!

Party at the Park is CAMP’s 15th Annual Gala. On Thursday, March 30, 2023, we will celebrate at the newly renovated Aggie Park in San Antonio and plan for this to be bigger and better than ever!  As always, the gala will celebrate our incredible campers, children and adult with disabilities, their families, our incredible volunteers, and our accomplishments of the past year. The event will include an auction promoting local businesses in our community. On behalf of CAMP, I respectfully ask for your generous support of an in-kind donation to feature in our auction that is both online and in person- reaching hundreds of households.

With your support, we can reach our goal of raising $250,000 to ensure every camper gets to participate - regardless of their disability, and every parent gets a much-needed break - regardless of their family income.

About CAMP

Since 1979, CAMP has strengthened and inspired individuals by allowing them to experience life without being defined by their disabilities through outdoor recreation, social interactions, and peer support. These opportunities are critical to the growth and development of individuals with disabilities, especially those who are considered medically fragile. What makes CAMP truly unique is our ability to serve those who are not eligible to apply or be accepted by other camps. Year-round, CAMP programs
alleviate medical, physical, developmental, social, and intellectual barriers for campers by adapting all activities to allow full participation.

CAMP is a 501c3 organization, and our nonprofit ID is 74-2095766. We are a GuideStar platinum level approved organization and are happy to provide any supporting documentation you may need.
