We appreciate the opportunity to provide information on The Carson Center’s annual fundraiser, Party For A Purpose, on May 8, 2025.  More than 400 adults from 21 to 80+ attend the event. Activities include food provided and served by area restaurants and caterers, wine tastings, as well as silent and live auctions.  Proceeds are essential to The Carson Center – which obtains more than 35 percent of our annual funding from fundraising events, sponsorships, contributions, and grants.  Any donation provided is sure to be successful in our auction.  Please send the certificate to my attention at the address provided below my signature.  This event raises over $100,000 annually – we are excited you will be a part of this party for the arts! 

The Carson Center, a regional 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts center, serves adults and children of all ages and socioeconomic backgrounds from the Four Rivers region of Western Kentucky and surrounding areas of Illinois, Tennessee, and Missouri.  Over 2 million people from all 50 states and several other nations have visited The Carson Center for performances and events since our opening in 2004.

We primarily present major professional performing artists and theatre companies from throughout the nation and from other nations. We also work closely with and involve local and regional performing artists and visual artists. The mission of The Carson Center for the Performing Arts is to enhance the quality of life in the Four Rivers region as a leader in presenting exceptional live performances and cultural experiences that are entertaining, educational, and economically beneficial for our community. Supporting objectives include increasing appreciation and understanding of the arts among audiences of all ages, providing access to the arts for people of all economic backgrounds, and improving economic development and tourism.
