Fairy Goodmothers is a 501(c)(3) organization, a recognized nonprofit by the Columbus Foundation, and a recipient of GuideStar’s Candid Silver Seal. We are an all-volunteer organization dedicated to promoting confidence and self-esteem by providing formal dresses and accessories to those lacking the means to personally purchase them. Cinderella’s Closet Boutique opens every prom season for multiple days, welcoming high school students to select a prom dress and accessories. Since its inception, Fairy Goodmothers has outfitted over 18,000 students in Central Ohio and beyond (some as far away as Canton and Cincinnati!) with the help of generous organizations like yours. In 2024 alone we served 1,110 students through our Cinderella’s Closet Boutique.

To ensure Cinderella's Closet Boutique is stocked and ready for its annual opening in February of 2025, Fairy Goodmothers is hosting its tenth Party for Prom fundraiser on Friday, November 15th, 2024 featuring dinner, cocktails, dancing and silent and live auctions. As we have in years past, we expect a turnout of 200 people. Proceeds raised will be used to purchase additional prom dresses in hard to find sizes - we stock 00-36 and hope to add 38 and 40 this year. With this fundraiser, we hope to raise enough money to send more than 1,000 students to their 2025 Prom. 

An in-kind donation or sponsorship would be greatly appreciated! Every dollar helps: a ticket purchase of $75 fully outfits one student for Prom, covering dress, jewelry, and accessories; a sponsorship of $500 can fully stock size 38 dresses; and an in-kind donation will inspire our attendees to support Cinderella’s Closet Boutique at the auction.
