Pass the Rocc Basketball Tournament and Basket Raffles
Sporting Event for Shaun Rocco FoundationJun 15, 2023 6:30 PM to Sep 16, 2023 6:30 PM
The Shaun Rocco Foundation is a local 501(c)(3) organization servicing the WNY community. Our mission is to promote and raise Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention, with a focus on young adults and families throughout our community. We achieve this mission in part, by helping and supporting local mental health and suicide prevention organizations within our community. Due to the success of our events and fundraisers, we have been able to start a Suicide Survivors Support Group, working in partnership with Niagara County Mental Health Association. This support group is free to attendees, and it is the first of its kind in Erie and Niagara County.
To keep our support group properly staffed and free to the public, The Shaun Rocco Foundation is currently coordinating our 4th Annual Pass the Rocc Basketball Tournament on Saturday, September 16th, 2023, at Pro Training Basketball (875 Eggert Rd North Tonawanda, NY 14120). This event is a staple for our organization and participants; and includes a 3-on-3 basketball tournament, a basket raffle, and food/refreshments.
Our basket raffle is one of the key contributors to the success of this event. The raffle is held both online and in-person at the event, with the online raffle opening in July. Last year, we had a remarkably good turnout to both the in person and online events, with a donor reach that was much greater than our local participants.
Would your organization consider donating a basket or gift card to support our event? Any contribution would help make our online and in person basket raffle an enormous success. Donors can donate single items that we can assemble into larger baskets or donate entire baskets themselves.
To create the online raffle, we are requesting to receive donations by June 30, 2023. We welcome and appreciate any support and donations you can provide. Please consider joining our mission to promote and raise mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
We welcome any questions that you may have and thank you in advance for your support.
