Description

On June 22nd, 2024, Shifting Gears will host its 6th annual "Passport Cruise".  It is unlike any other "fundraiser". Approximately 250-300 participants travel around to multiple businesses in Johnson and Miami counties (and surrounding areas) to explore specialty farms, wineries, restaurants and other unique businesses while shifting the stigma around mental health. During and at the end of the event, participants have an opportunity to place bids on silent auction items. We’d love for you to be included!

Shifting Gears for Regan has reached over 15,000 students in the KC area with our #GiveMe20 workshops - a suicide prevention program helping kids & adults alike to find their light and remember why life is worth living. We are proud to fund Sources of Strength (SOS) in area schools.  SOS uses a strength-based approach to foster positive mental health & prevent suicide, bullying, and substance abuse.  Both of these programs are saving lives.  Additionally, we continue to fund the Paola Community Garden while beautifying our Shifting Gears Butterfly Garden - a space that instills hope and healing while connecting with nature.  Learn more about these programs at ShiftingGearsForRegan.com.

With your donation, Shifting Gears will continue funding & developing suicide awareness and prevention initiatives throughout the area.
