The Gulf Coast Humane Society located in Corpus Christi, Texas is hosting our 14th annual outdoor fall fundraising festival, Pawfest, on the 30th of September 2023. We have been in operation since 1945; that's 78 years of being able to help homeless canines and felines alike! Our shelter is the largest no-kill shelter in southern Texas and regionally we cover almost all of the western side of the Gulf of Mexico. We work with many different rescues, shelters, and fosters throughout the state of Texas, California, and even Florida! Pawfest is a festival where we fundraise for our no-kill shelter with vendors, food trucks, live music, raffles, and various other activities to help support our local shelter! Last year we had over 800 people in attendance and expect to have even more this year! The wonderful thing about our event is it draws in lots of families, so we have all ages in attendance.
